Bespoke Paintings

One of the last of the commissioned paintings, made with care, painted in Acrylic paints on Gessoed panels. The theme is Road Haulage and Road travellers, past and present, world- wide. Each picture takes between 30 and 130 hours of work and so far there have been well over a thousand done. They are finished in natural wood frames. The view of “Glencoe”, featuring Stamper’s Foden from Penrith with high sheeted and roped load, was painted in Lascaux Acrylics, framed in Beech Wood, and commissioned by Stewart Robertson of Perth, Scotland , who kindly allowed us to use it for our regular Foden Christmas card - ordered every year by the Foden Society:
